When was the UP Interior Design Alumni Association established?

The Alumni Association for UP Interior Design graduates was established in 2008.

Am I eligible for membership?

Yes, if you are a graduate of the University of the Philippines from the College of Home Economics (Bachelor of Interior Design, Bachelor or Science in Interior Design or Master of Interior Design)

Can I be a part of UPIDAA even if I am not a graduate of UP?

You can become an Honorary member if you have contributed to the cause of the ID profession and the Association, even if you are not a U.P. or Interior Design graduate. Honorary Members are exempt from paying the membership fee and have no voting rights. You can become one by invitation or recommendation from an UPIDAA alumna. You or your company can also become one of UPIDAA’s Allied Partners — these are the manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, and distributors of interior design materials and services.

Do I have to be a PRC Board Passer to become a member?

No, that is not a necessary requirement.

How can I be a member of the UPIDAA?

If you are eligible for membership, fill up the online membership form. Upon completion of the form, deposit your payment of the membership fee through any of the following:

Upon payment, email a copy of the deposit slip to upidaa.org@gmail.com with your name and contact numbers clearly written on the slip.

How much is the membership fee?

Regular members can pay an annual fee of Php 1,000.00. You can also choose to pay the one-time lifetime membership fee of Php 5,000.00.

What are the benefits of becoming a member?

If you choose to become a member of the UPIDAA, you will be part of the growing network of professionals! You’ll have exclusive access to the member and supplier directory, and your ID card will be your ticket to discounts from suppliers and access to alumni events, assemblies, and seminars!

When does the UPIDAA usually have the General Assembly?

We have our General Members’ Meeting annually, and we call them Ikaw ang bIDa! For announcements about the upcoming Ikaw ang bIDa! events, do check out our announcements here.

How do I join the IDisenyo competition?

To enter an upcoming competition, you can visit the site’s IDisenyo page or click here to check eligibility, requirements, deadlines, announcements, and other information.
