The UPIDAA recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy rights of the individual in relation to your personal information. We collect and use your personal information in order to process your membership application, to provide member benefits to you, to manage our relationship with you, to carry out our obligations, to respond to protected areas of our website and notify you about changes to our website, to improve our projects and initiatives, and to improve the quality of our organization.

Depending on the nature of your interaction with us, we may collect the following types of personal information from you: contact details, identification, organizational affiliations, profession or occupation, forms submitted, communication preferences, payment details, and any information relating to you that you have provided directly or indirectly through access and use of our website, by email, surveys, applications, or conversations with our representatives or otherwise.

When you manually or electronically submit to us your UPIDAA Membership Application form, we collect the following information from you:

  1. If UP BS/BA Interior Design Graduate
  2. UP Course
  3. Full Name
  4. Nickname
  5. Email Address
  6. Year Graduated
  7. Phone Number

The collected information is utilized solely for documentation and application processing purposes within the UPIDAA and is not shared with or disclosed to any outside parties. This information enables us to process membership applications, address any complaints and forward them to appropriate internal units for action and response, and update related parties or complainants with advisories in a legitimate format and through an organized process.


How long we retain your data


If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely in order for website administrators to recognize and approve any comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
