The University of the Philippines Interior Design Alumni Association is a non-profit organization established in 2008 consisting of Interior Design graduates from the University of the Philippines with the following objectives:

  1. To strengthen and maintain closer relationships between the interior design alumni, the Clothing, Textiles and Interior Design (CTID) Department and the College of Home Economics of the University of the Philippines.
  2. To encourage and establish a venue for sharing research, professional expertise, and relevant experiences among alumni.
  3. To foster continuing friendships and communication among alumni members
  4. To provide organized assistance to the CTID Department in fundraising activities for the support of the college’s curricular programs and other needs.
  5. To assist in strengthening the values system inculcated by the college and encourage collective and collaborative efforts among the alumni.

UPIDAA continues to promote and uphold UP and Filipino design excellence through its members who are making their own mark in the design field and other allied services. Imbued with the passion for excellence, we commit ourselves to be able to make a difference — in promoting the Interior Design profession or in sharing professional expertise with each other and to others in need.

With trailblazing projects and collaborative efforts, we continue to push toward the enhancement of the quality of life of families and the community. Together, we make a commitment for the advancement of Interior Design in the Philippines by creating life-enhancing spaces for working and living for all end-users.

Putting together the able and committed hands of the UPIDAA Officers and Board of Directors together with their hardworking members, the University of the Philippines Interior Design Alumni Association untiringly endeavors to plan and accomplish relevant projects and renders exceptional service in the pursuit of the goals of the University of the Philippines, the College of Home Economics, the alumni, the students, and the general public.
