IDisenyo is an annual interior design competition where participating teams are composed of interior design professionals and students of the Interior Design program. They are encouraged to value the design process, putting emphasis on conceptualization and supporting it with organized research and design development.

What started as a homegrown event exclusively for the UP Interior Design department has now grown into a prestigious, full-blown nationwide competition aiming to improve and enhance all kinds of interior spaces.

This project of UPIDAA aims to give design students opportunities to work with professional interior designers, simulating “real world” ethics. This also serves as a venue to exchange ideas and techniques between professionals and students and for exposure to current design issues and challenges in the industry.
